What’s New for Jeep® in 2018

At Linwood CDJR Metropolis, we’re always excited for the start of the new model year. For the 2018 model year, there are some exciting things that are new for Jeep®. Here are some of the highlights, all of which you can soon check out in person at Linwood CDJR Metropolis.

New for Jeep is the Grand Cherokee TrailhawkJeep® Grand Cherokee

The most exciting upgrade for the capable, comfortable, and sophisticated 2018 Jeep® Grand Cherokee is the introduction of the Trackhawk edition. This model takes Jeep® performance to a whole new level with a V8 engine that kicks out a whopping 707 horsepower and is paired with an all-wheel drive system, which enables you to go from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds.

Jeep® Wrangler

Jeep® is good about keeping its big changes quiet. However, there’s been a lot of talk about the newest Jeep® Wrangler, including discussion of a diesel powertrain as well as a hybrid option. A little farther off into the feature, the Jeep® Wrangler pickup version is expected to arrive.

New for Jeep is the Compass redesignJeep® Compass

The Jeep® Compass was recently redesigned, and this model year it carries over many of the new changes. It’s powered by a 180-horsepower 2.4-liter engine and offers two choices for all-wheel drive systems. With a low starting price, it’s a comfortable and capable SUV option for young drivers and recent graduates.
